Raps Stearinsäure Palmölfrei

Raps Stearin wird zu 100 % aus Rapsöl gewonnen. Dies ist eine Besonderheit, da Stearinsäure hauptsächlich aus Palmöl gewonnen wird. Das Rapsöl wird aus europäischen Samen gewonnen und in Deutschland weiter verarbeitet. Das Endprodukt ist ein reines, weißes Stearin. Der Schmelzpunkt beträgt 58 - 68 °C. Bei Erhitzung wird die Flüssigkeit klar und weist einen Stearin typischen Geruch auf. Dieses Stearin wird aus natürlichen Rohstoffen gewonnen und ist somit biologisch abbaubar.

Anwendungen

Stearinsäure wird insbesondere für Kerzen und Seifen verwendet. Kerzen aus Stearinsäure werden meist im Gießverfahren hergestellt und haben einen Stearin typischen Kristallisationseffekt. Stearinkerzen sind fester als Paraffinkerzen. Sie haben im Vergleich zu Paraffinkerzen den Vorteil einer höheren Formstabilität unter Wärmeeinwirkung und bleiben bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung formstabil. Stearinsäure eignet sich auch hervorragend als Bestandteil von Kosmetika oder Schmiermitteln und kann als Verdicker und zur Texturverbesserung in Cremes und Lotionen eingesetzt werden.

Hinweise

Raps Stearin sollte trocken, kühl und lichtgeschützt gelagert werden.

Schmelzbereich:

50 - 60 °C, 60 - 70 °C
