Information about black tinting colour
To mix dark colours or create black candles, you can combine the colouring dye with a small amount of black tinting colour. This product contains pigments and helps darken colours without requiring excessive amounts of dye.
White additive
To make paraffin waxes appear whiter and less transparent, you can mix a small amount of white additive into the wax.
Additional additives
For scented candles / wax melts (23132008)
Our fragrance retention additive reliably prevents oils from sweating out of the candle and helps preserve the scent over a longer period. It also improves the even burning of the wax-oil mixture, allowing fragrances to be released faster and more evenly throughout the room. The addition increases the wax’s oil absorption capacity, which can result in a stronger fragrance throw. Recommended addition: 3%
Burning enhancer (23134000)
For improved burning performance and a more even burn. The increased homogeneity helps fragrances and colours bind better within the candle and distribute more evenly throughout the wax. Recommended addition: 0.1%
For stearin candles (23132007)
Prevents crystal structures from forming in stearin candles. Particularly suitable when adding colour pigments, as the crystal structure of stearin can prevent pigments from being absorbed evenly, causing colours to appear lighter. Recommended addition: 0.1%
