TO 8120 M Hard paraffin Micronized powder 104 - 114 °C

We offer high-quality paraffin wax - it is also called hard paraffin wax or - after the inventors of this wax production 'Fischer-Tropsch-Wax'. This wax has a dropping point of (104 - 114 °C). It is a high-purity hard paraffin wax produced in the EU using the latest methods. It meets purity criteria according to BfR recommendation XXV as well as FDA 175.105 and other FDA approvals (see product data sheet). It is approved for contact with foodstuffs in consumer goods.

This hard paraffin has a very narrow C-chain distribution and thus a clearly defined melting point. The colour is white to off-white.

Use of hard paraffins:

Hard paraffin waxes or Fischer-Tropsch waxes can be used in a wide variety of applications. In digital printing (aqueous), letterpress printing (aqueous), screen printing (aqueous) and in liquid coating (aqueous) production, the wax has different properties. It increases abrasion resistance, gliding properties, scratch resistance and wet abrasion resistance. In addition to these properties, the wax also has properties that help with wetting and have an anti-blocking effect. In addition to these properties, this hard paraffin also serves as a process aid. In liquid paint production, the wax also causes surface hardening.

We supply the wax offered here in powder form. These waxes in powder form are often somewhat more difficult to dose than granulate types. The goods are packed in 15 kg bags.
