Micronized Fischer-Tropsch wax T 2915 M
This high-quality Fischer-Tropsch wax is a micronized wax that is white to off-white in color. The paraffin has a dropping point of approx. 97 °C (90 - 103 °C) and is produced in the EU using the latest methods. It meets the purity criteria of BfR recommendation XXV, as well as FDA 175.105 and other FDA approvals. T 2915 M is approved in consumer goods for contact with food. This wax has a narrow C-chain distribution and therefore a solidification point of approx. 90 °C.
Application
Fischer-Tropsch wax can be used in a wide variety of areas. In adhesives, it shortens the open time, increases adhesion properties and reduces stringing. T 2915 M can be used in rubber applications as a lubricant and release agent and in PVC as a surface protection or lubricant. This special wax can also be added in small quantities to increase the melting point of candle wax.
