Polyethylene wax - PE WAX -
Polyethylene waxes also known as PE waxes, are crystalline, bright and relatively hard waxes. These waxes are produced synthetically from ethylene or polyethylene. In non-polar form they are obtained by the low pressure process with Ziegler-Natta catalysts and in polar form by melt oxidation. PE waxes are particularly suitable for adjusting melting point, viscosity and hardness.
Our PE-waxes cover different areas, where we distinguish mainly between the following areas:
- PE-waxes, which offer a wide range of hardness, viscosity and melting points for different requirements. You can simply request these from us.
- Oxidized PE-waxes for use in polar plastics such as PVC and for use in water-based wax emulsions.
