Plucking Wax Special 842
This plucking wax has a particularly high adhesive content and is especially suitable for fattier poultry, e.g. geese. The solidification point is between 53-58 °C, purity criteria for contact with food are fulfilled. Our plucking wax is produced in Italy according to the latest methods. The manufacturer has many years of experience.
Application
Plucking wax is used to remove remaining feathers and fluff from pre-plucked animals. For this purpose, the plucking wax is liquefied in a water bath. The animals are dipped into the liquid wax. After the wax layer has hardened, the wax can be removed from the animal with the feather remains and fluff embedded in it. The plucking wax can be reused after filtration.
