Stainless steel wick holder
Our stainless steel wick holder enables both beginners and experienced candle makers to produce high quality candles with precise wick centring. The reusable wick holder ensures a good wick stand and prevents the wick from falling into the wax during cooling. It is flexible and can be used for both round and flat wicks. The three holes allow the use of up to 3 wicks and thereby guarantee a precise centring for various candle projects. Feel free to use our wick guide to find the right wick.
Usage
Place the candle wick in the desired container and fix it in one of the clamping slots of the wick holder. Then pour the wax into the mould or fill the container with wax granules. To prevent the wick from slipping at the bottom during production, you can attach it to the bottom of the container with wax (e.g. with our wax adhesive plates) or a hot glue gun.
Compatibility
The wick holder is compatible with most of our wicks, but not with our BWR 2 and our flame bowl wick range. The decisive factor is the diameter of the wick used, which must match the sizes of the holes and clamping slots in the wick holder. Please note that the container used should have a maximum diameter of 8 cm in order to be able to use our wick holder.
Hints
Our wick holders are not suitable for all candle projects and wick sizes. There are many factors that influence the burning behaviour of a candle. The most important are the diameter of the candle and the height of the vessel.
