Sucralose Powder
Sucralose is an intense, calorie-free sweetener made from sugar. Sucralose is around 600 times sweeter than household sugar. The sweetener is used instead of sugar in many foods such as soft drinks, ice cream, yoghurts, ice cream and baked goods. Sucralose is also suitable for tooth-friendly products as, unlike normal sugar, it does not contribute to tooth decay. Sweeteners have no effect on insulin and blood sugar levels in the human body and are therefore particularly suitable for diabetics. Sucralose is a white, crystalline powder that is easily soluble in water, methanol and alcohol. It is only slightly soluble in ethyl acetate.
For a 1-litre soft drink, just 0.17 g of sucralose is sufficient to replace the sweetness of 100 g sugar.
