Soy Wax Pastilles NatureWax® C-3

NatureWax® C-3 is a high-quality soy wax obtained from pure soy oil from the soy bean. This vegetable wax is completely natural, vegan and ideal for candle making. The wax can be used to make beautiful, natural candles in containers, scented candles, scented melts or tea lights. As it is currently almost impossible to produce drip-free soy candles, the wax should be used for tea lights or candles in containers. NatureWax® C-3 is characterised by its excellent quality: It minimises the formation of fat blooms that often occur with natural waxes, ensuring an appealing end product. This wax is produced in the Netherlands and is used by leading candle manufacturers.

Soy is a renewable raw material that is environmentally friendly, vegan and 100% biodegradable. The wax has a whitish to beige colour and a melting point of 51 to 54 °C.

Application

Soy wax is usually heated indirectly in a water bath. To do this, a pot is heated with a little water. The wax is then melted in a metal bowl or a second pot in the water bath. This method ensures even melting and prevents the wax from overheating.

Notes

This product is too soft for pillar candles or other free-standing candles. However, it can be mixed with harder waxes to achieve the desired hardness for free-standing candles. Soy wax should be stored dry, cool place away from light.
