Plucking Wax 706
We offer high-quality plucking wax in slabs with a solidification point of 54 - 57 °C. Plucking wax is used to remove remaining feathers and fluff from pre-plucked poultry. The wax mixture is adjusted for quick and clean plucking. The plucking wax is food safe and is produced in Europe using the latest methods.
Application
First liquefy the plucking wax in a water bath at approx. 60 °C. Then dip the animals into the liquid wax. The slaughtered animals should be completely covered in wax when dipped. When lifting out, let the wax drip off briefly and immerse in a cold water bath. After the wax layer has hardened, the wax can be removed from the animal together with feathers, down and skin impurities. The wax can be reused after filtration (sieve or cloth).
