Beeswax blend
This European-made wax offers the benefits of pure beeswax at an affordable price. The beeswax blend has the same chemical and physical properties as pure cosmetic grade beeswax. Our beeswax blend consists of a combination of beeswax with other waxes. The wax mixture is designed to support the positive effects of beeswax. The beeswax mixture has a melting point of 61 - 65 °C and is suitable as a consistency agent.
Application
Thanks to its emulsifying properties, our beeswax mixture has a stabilising effect and binds oils in emulsions, for example in creams and ointments. It is also suitable as a consistency agent and stabiliser for water-free formulations such as lipsticks, mascara and other cosmetic products. Thanks to its chemical purity, it prevents discolouration in emulsions, as is sometimes the case with natural wax.
Note
Beeswax should be stored dry, cool and protected from light. This beeswax mixture can be used to make candles. However, we recommend using RAL quality beeswax.
