Beeswax Ph. Eur. Cera alba
This wax is of cosmetic quality and particularly pure. The beeswax is extracted in different harvesting regions of Europe and cleaned, filtered and bleached in Germany. In cosmetic linguistic usage, this quality is called «Cera alba». The beeswax is genuine and free from paraffins or similar extenders. The melting point is approx. 61 - 65 °C. For quantities from 20 kg in the original container, the manufacturer guarantees the suitability for food contact.
Applications
Beeswax Ph. Eur. is suitable for coatings and can be used for high-quality beeswax cloths. It is also a popular wax for cosmetics, e.g. skin-compatible ointments and creams can be manufactured. It is also suitable as a polishing and impregnating agent for e.g. furniture care.
As specialists in beeswax, we only sell the best quality from manufacturers who have a high level of trustworthiness. On request, a further analysis for pesticides can be prepared. This is done per batch in an independent laboratory and charged separately. Please ask us for this special analysis.
Further information
Beeswax should be stored in a dry, cool place away from light.
This beeswax can be used for candle making. However, we advise using beeswax of RAL quality.
As it is a natural product, colour and smell may vary slightly.
