Citric Acid Powder – The Versatile Helper for Descaling and Cleaning
The citric acid descaler is a proven, highly effective household remedy for efficient descaling and thorough cleaning of surfaces. Additionally, the product is excellent for cleaning surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, and on fittings. It effortlessly removes limescale residues and dirt from tiles, sinks, shower walls, and other frequently used areas. This ensures hygienic cleanliness and leaves surfaces sparkling clean without residues.
To remove rust, citric acid can be dissolved in water. The solution can be applied to the affected areas using cloths. Alternatively, the rusted parts can be placed directly into the solution. Please follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

Instructions: Descaling a Kettle Made Easy with Citric Acid
Important: Please follow the appliance manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
- Fill the kettle with cold or lukewarm water.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of citric acid descaler per 1 litre of water and stir well.
- Let the solution sit and then rinse thoroughly. The solution should sit for about 1 hour. For severe limescale deposits, the exposure time should be longer. In the case of heavy limescale, the exposure time is about 5 hours.
- Previously limescale-covered, now sparkling clean – with citric acid for technical applications!
Notes
Citric acid should be stored dry at room temperature. This citric acid is not suitable for food applications. We also offer food-grade citric acid, which can be identified by the E-number 330.
