Neon candle colours for dipping – intense neon colours for candles

Our neon candle colours contain highly pigmented, wax-insoluble pigments specifically developed for decorative surface finishing. This allows you to create candles with an intense neon effect. The neon pigments are specially suited for colouring mantle wax or dipping wax. These colours are not suitable for fully colouring the entire candle body. When used correctly, they only minimally affect the burning behaviour of the candles and provide brilliant, even surface colours.

The neon colours are made in Germany and are professional-grade colours, as used in industrial candle production.

Application

First, prepare colourless candles and heat the dipping wax (e.g. paraffin) to approximately 80 °C until it is liquid. Depending on the desired intensity, stir in up to 1% neon candle dye. Then dip the candles into the dipping mixture and repeat this process several times if desired. For a glossy finish, the neon surface can be refined with transparent gloss varnish.

Which candles are suitable for neon pigment colour?

Neon colour is specifically designed for colouring mantle wax. Therefore, it is suitable for all candles whose core is coated with mantle wax. In this process, already cast or manufactured candles are coated with coloured mantle wax, giving them a smooth, even surface.

Quality

High-quality pigment colours from German production. The product complies with candle RAL standard GZ041. Kaiser Lacke is registered as an accredited supplier for colours and lacquers with the European Candle Quality Association (Europäische Gütegemeinschaft Kerzen e.V.).

Notes

Neon colours are not suitable for fully colouring the entire candle mass. For this purpose, we offer wax-soluble dyes that are ideal for full colouring. Using pigments for full colouring results in a weak colour tone, and higher dosages can clog the wick. Please note: Neon here refers to the particularly intense brightness of the colours, not to fluorescence or glow-in-the-dark effects. To ensure that the pigments retain their colour, the processing temperature should not exceed 85 °C.
