Soy wax pastilles NatureWax® C-310
NatureWax© C-310 is a pure soy wax designed for the production of container candles. It has a soy-typical beige to white colour and a dropping point of 51 - 55 °C. The wax is obtained from soybeans and is therefore a natural, vegan, renewable raw material. The soybeans come from European cultivation and are GMO free. NatureWax© C-310 can be refined with candle colours and candle fragrances.
Application
Soy wax is usually heated indirectly in a water bath. To do this, a pot is heated with a little water. The wax is then melted in a metal bowl or a second pot in the water bath. This method ensures even melting and prevents the wax from overheating. For best results, the wax should be poured into the mould at a temperature of 55 - 60 °C.
Further information
This product is too soft for pillar candles or other free-standing candles. However, it can be mixed with harder waxes to achieve the desired hardness for free-standing candles.
Soy wax should be stored in a dry, cool place away from light.
