Wax additive to prevent the crystal structure in paraffin candles
The additive improves the properties of paraffin wax for candle production. It has a solidification point of 60 - 65 °C and a dropping point of 70 - 76 °C.
The additive has further effects depending on the concentration:
| 0,3 % | When dipping candles, it increases flexibility and improves mouldability when pressing candles. |
| 0,5 % | It prevents the formation of crystals and turns the wax into a homogeneous, slightly more milky mass. |
| 1 % | Candles produced by dipping have improved flow behaviour and a compact, opaque appearance. |
| 1,5 % | Moulded candles are easier to remove from the mould, have a shinier surface and are more stable. |
| 5 % | When pouring candles into silicone moulds, it helps to prevent the formation of air bubbles. |
