Candle additive to prevent the crystal structure in stearin candles (23132007)
Our candle additive was developed for the addition to stearin candles and prevents the formation of the crystal structures that usually form during the production of stearin candles. These are particularly noticeable when colour pigments are added to the wax, as the crystals absorb the pigments less well and appear lighter. For a homogeneous colour result with evenly coloured wax, as it is common with paraffin candles, add this candle additive to your wax mixture. Enjoy the advantages of stearin in combination with a brilliant colour result. Stearin candles have a higher shape stability under heat and are lighter than paraffin when cooled and uncoloured.
Usage
Can be used when colouring stearin with dyes such as our wax dyes and when adding fragrances. Can be used in dipping masses, drawing masses, casting masses and other mass colourings.
During the candle making process the additive should be added to the melted wax before any wax dye or fragrances are added. Make sure that the additive is completely melted so that it can develop its full potential.
Recommended addition: 0.1 %.
