Thanks to the high pigment concentration, the colour pellets are very economical: only 0.1 g is sufficient to colour 1 kg of wax. Depending on the dosage, all shades from delicate colour nuances to intense tones can be achieved. This results in even, brilliant colours without streaks or spots – ideal for colouring candles and producing coloured waxes. The candle colours are compatible with all common candle waxes (including paraffin, soy wax, rapeseed wax, and stearin) and candle wax blends.

Application

First, heat the candle wax until it is completely liquid. The optimal temperature for incorporating the colour pellets is between 80 °C and 85 °C. Then add the desired amount of colour pellets and stir the wax thoroughly until the pigments have fully dissolved and are evenly distributed.

The recommended dosage is 0.1% to 0.2% (equivalent to 1 to 2 g per kilogram of wax). For deep black, the amount can be increased to 0.4%. For more intense colours, concentrations of up to a maximum of 1% are possible. Higher dosages should be avoided to prevent impairing the burning properties.

Notes
