Paraffin wax 5557
We offer a cost-effective candle wax in granules. It is set to have optimal properties for cast or pressed candles. This type of wax is also called candle sand or wax sand. Our paraffin wax 5557 is not approved for use in foodor food packaging. We also do not supply it for cosmeticor pharmaceutical applications. It has an oil content of 0.6 - 1.0 % and a white colour. This product is a cheaper alternative to waxes with even lower oil content. It has a very low odour and very good burning properties.
Application
The product is a pure paraffin without admixtures of other waxes or oils. Due to its ideal solidification point of approx. 55 - 57 °C, it is easy to process and very suitable for cast candles such as grave lights and all candles or torches for outdoor use. It is also suitable for the production of torches, lanterns or lantern lights.
