Rapeseed Coconut Wax Blend NatureWax® Elite 600
Elite 600 is a natural wax blend of rapeseed oil and coconut oil. The wax blend originates from purely vegetable sources and is free from paraffin and synthetic additives. Elite 600 is suitable for making container candles and is a good alternative to soy wax. The wax blend consists mainly of rapeseed oil. To reduce brittleness, a small amount of coconut oil is added (max. 30 %). Elite 600 is vegan, has a melting point of 39 - 42 °C and is produced in Germany. The wax mixture is ideally suited for the addition of fragrance oils and candle colours. The maximum addition of fragrance oils is 6 %.
Application
First, bring Elite 600 to a temperature of 60 - 70 °C until it is liquid. If necessary, add the fragrances and colourings now. Then pour the wax into the desired candle shape at a pouring temperature of at least 38 °C. For an optimal result, the containers should have a temperature of 20 - 30 °C. Depending on the shape and additives, re-melting the surface or re-pouring may be necessary for a smooth surface.
Further Information
This product is too soft for pillar candles or other free-standing candles. Elite 600 should be stored in a dry, cool place away from light.
