Sodium cyclamate (E 952) is a calorie-free sweetener with a sugar-like taste and versatile applications in food processing. With approximately 35 times the sweetening power of household sugar, it is particularly suitable for the production of reduced-calorie and sugar-free products. Compared to many other sweeteners, sodium cyclamate is characterised by a pleasantly neutral taste without aftertaste.

Due to its high stability to heat and cold, sodium cyclamate can be used in both hot processes such as cooking and baking, as well as in cold applications. It also has the ability to support and round off fruit flavours. In practice, it is often used in combination with other sweeteners, particularly saccharin, to achieve a balanced and sugar-like flavour profile.

The present quality in 40–80 mesh offers a uniform, fine crystal structure, ensuring reliable dosing as well as rapid and complete solubility. The product is colourless and odourless, making it suitable for use in industrial food production as well as for further processing.
