MASCID® 1802 is a premium, triple-pressed stearic acid derived from sustainable palm oil. This fatty acid blend of palmitic acid and stearic acid is the ideal raw material for cosmetic formulations and professional candle making.

Use in Candle Production
Stearic acid is colloquially referred to as Stearin in candle making. It serves as the main component or additive for wax candles and ensures professional results with a matt surface and stable shape. Thanks to it's high stearic acid content, candles develop a characteristic, ice-crystal-like structure as part of their natural solidification process.
