Colour stabilizer, UV-Stabilizer for candles

Use our colour stabilizer for strong, brilliant and bright colours, even if the candles are stored for a longer period of time. It reliably protects your candles from cracking, fading and discoloration caused by UV rays. 

Usage

Can be used for colouring with dyes such as our wax colours and when fragrances are added. Can be used in dipping compounds, drawing compounds, casting compounds and other compound colourings.

During the candle making process the additive should be added to the melted wax before any wax dye or fragrances are added. Make sure that the additive is completely melted so that it can develop its full potential.

Recommended addition: 0.05 % - 0.50 %, in paraffins approx. 0.1 %

• UV-Stabilizer for paraffins: Addition to paraffins or wax blends with high paraffin content (2313 3005)
• UV-Stabilizer for wax blends: Addition in glass candles and tea light mixtures, paraffin and stearin mixtures  (2313 3007)
• UV stabilizer for stearins: Addition in stearin or wax blends with high content of stearin (2313 3009)

Note

There are many factors that have an effect on the burning characteristics of a candle. The main ones include the type of wax, the melting point of the wax, the thickness of the candle, and the addition of colours, fragrances and additives. Test your candle project with our candle additive before making a large number of candles.
