Soy wax in flakes - NatureWax® C-1

This soy wax in flakes is a natural mixture of vegetable glycerides, mainly soy with a small amount of palm wax (max. 30%).It is an excellent wax composition especially suited for pouring candles into jars or other containers.The soy wax mixture has the special property of detaching from the rim of the jar after cooling and leaving little to no wax residue on the rim of the jar when burning.Candles made from NatureWax C1 are suitable for indoor use and can additionally be used for garden and scented candles or scented melts. The soy wax blend originates from the USA and is also supplied in this form to major candle manufacturers.NatureWax C1 forms little to no fat blooms, which otherwise often occur with pure natural waxes.This product is too soft for pillar candles or other free-standing candles. However, with a mixture of harder waxes, the desired hardness for free-standing candles can be achieved. We do not recommend this wax for cosmetic applications.Soy wax is the main ingredient of the mixture and is considered a renewable raw material, which is produced ecologically and vegan and is 100% biodegradable. 

Use of the soy wax in flakes - NatureWax C-1:

The soy wax mixture is usually heated indirectly in a water bath. To do this, a pot is heated with a little water. The wax is then melted in a metal bowl or a second pot in the water bath. This method ensures even melting and prevents the wax from overheating.
