Almond Oil Cold Pressed

Almond oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the kernels of sweet almonds (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) and then gently refined. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and contains various vitamins and minerals. Almond oil is very mild and is frequently used in skincare products as it makes the skin supple, provides moisture, and has a soothing effect. It is particularly suitable for sensitive skin, mature skin, babies, and pregnant women. In addition to skincare, almond oil is also used in hair care products or as a carrier oil (base oil) together with essential oils.

Refined almond oil offers several advantages compared to unrefined almond oil:

  • Longer shelf life: The refining process removes free fatty acids, leading to improved oxidation stability.
  • Neutral scent: Refined almond oil has a more neutral, barely perceptible scent, making it more attractive for many applications.
  • Lighter color: It is light yellow to almost colorless, which is advantageous in certain cosmetic products.
