Tealight wick flat wick 2T51

This wick was developed to achieve an optimal burning behaviour for tea lights. It is a waxed flat-wick with a metal base in a length of 3,5 cm, which is particularly suitable for low melting waxes. The wicks are not treated with borax and are tested according to RAL standards. This wick is not suitable for natural waxes or stearic acids.

For larger and taller candles made of natural waxes we recommend the candle wick BWR.

The flat wick 2T51 combines all properties for a good and even burning behaviour and also works with a wide variety of paraffins and natural waxes. The wick has a good wick stand and forms little to no slugs. The wicks are manufactured in Germany.

Usage:

Place the candle wick in the mould and then pour the wax into the mould. Wax adhesive plates can be used to prevent the wick from slipping during manufacture.

Hints:

Tealight wicks cannot be used to draw candles. There are many factors that influence the burning behaviour of a candle. The main ones are the type of wax, the melting point of the wax, the thickness of the candle and the addition of colour and fragrances. Test your candle project with our wicks before ordering a large number of wicks.
