Sumac wax, Japan wax pastilles
Sumac wax is a soft wax obtained from the fruits of the tree (Rhus Verniciflua). This plant is native to China. The wax is used in the textile and leather industry for impregnating, smoothing and as a finishing agent. It is also used in the cosmetics industry as an additive for ointments. Sumac wax can also be used as a substitute for beeswax in candles and wax polishes. This berry wax has a melting point of 45 - 53 °C and is whitish to ivory.
Application
Sumac wax provides soft, fine texture in natural cosmetic products. We recommend this wax as an additive in lip and skin care sticks, skin and hair care products and cosmetic ointments. Sumac wax can also be mixed excellently with other consistency enhancers or oils.
