There are two types of Ball Mason Jars: Regular and Wide Mouth. This one is the Wide Mouth: This larger opening measures 3.38 inches (approx. 86 mm). The inside diameter is 2.83 inches (approx. 72 mm). Wide Mouth is about 20 % larger than the Regular Mouth and therefore makes filling and cleaning easier.
