Paraffin for tissue embedding 5405

Special wax for the fixation and stabilization of tissue. Blocking tissue in paraffin is an alternative to tissue stabilization by freezing. In general, the quality of paraffin sections is higher than that of frozen sections, but involves more effort. Paraffin is usually used for 3 to 15 μm thick sections. Our paraffin has a melting point of 54 - 56°C and is supplied in easily dosable pastilles. The wax quality corresponds to Ph.Eur. guidelines.
