The Shampoo Base C-MB is a high-quality base for the production of your own shampoos and hair care products. It contains aloe vera juice and mild surfactants that gently cleanse the hair. The product complies with the requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) and contains 94.87% ingredients of natural origin. The shampoo base is suitable for both DIY cosmetics and professional manufacturers or laboratories. The clear to slightly translucent liquid ranges from colourless to pale yellow, has a medium to gel-like consistency, and a mild characteristic scent.

Application

Our shampoo base can be used directly or customised individually. For processing, place the base into a clean, sterilised mixing vessel with a stirrer and mix slowly. During stirring, fragrances or essential oils can be added, with typical usage levels between 0.2% and 0.5%. The stirring speed should initially be low and gradually increased until the base moves evenly. Stirring too quickly or too vigorously may incorporate air bubbles, causing the base to appear temporarily cloudy or opaque; however, the air will dissipate over time. Slight heating is generally not required but may be helpful at temperatures below 20 °C. In this case, the base can be gently heated to approximately 20–25 °C while stirring. Not all essential oils dissolve equally well in the base; if necessary, a solubiliser can be used.

Notes

The shampoo base should be stored well sealed, dry, and cool at temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C in a well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and proximity to food, beverages, or animal feed.
