What is vitamin C powder good for?

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is essential for many bodily functions. It also plays a significant role in collagen formation, which is important for healthy skin, bones and blood vessels. A lack of vitamin C can lead to serious health problems, including scurvy, a disease that used to affect seafarers in particular.
