Carnauba Wax T3 Flakes
Carnauba Wax T3 Light Fat Grey Flakes is a high-quality, plant-based wax derived from the leaves of the Carnauba palm (Copernicia prunifera), native to Brazil. This refined wax grade is offered specifically for cosmetic and industrial applications. The sustainable harvesting is carried out carefully: only selected leaves are harvested without damaging the palm, ensuring the resource is preserved for the long term. The flake form allows for easy dosing and processing.

Applications
Cosmetics
Carnauba Wax T3 gives lipsticks, hair waxes and creams a stable, pleasant and non-sticky texture. It forms a protective film on skin, hair and nails, which locks in moisture and protects the products against external influences. This results in smooth, supple skin and a glossy finish.
What effect does Carnauba wax have on the skin?
In cosmetic products, Carnauba wax has a protective and caring effect on the skin. It forms a protective film that retains moisture and shields the skin from external influences. Additionally, it imparts a pleasant texture and a glossy finish to the products.
Technical applications
Thanks to its high melting point of around 82–86 °C, carnauba wax remains stable and retains its shape even in heat-stressed formulations. It reliably protects surfaces from water, dirt and weathering. This makes carnauba wax a preferred raw material for car polish, shoe polish, furniture care products, varnishes and polishes. Its hardness and resistance make it ideal for durable protective films.
Is Carnauba wax sustainable?
Carnauba wax is generally considered sustainable when harvested under responsible conditions. It comes from the leaves of the Carnauba palm, native to northeastern Brazil. The leaves are harvested without damaging the palm by cutting only selected leaves during the dry season, while sparing the trunk. This enables the plant to regenerate and ensures the long-term use of the resource. Harvesting usually takes place two to three times annually with sufficient intervals to avoid weakening the palm.
Notes
Due to its natural origin, properties such as colour may vary slightly. Carnauba wax should be stored dry, cool and protected from light.
