Color Food Blue with E133 Brilliant Blue FCF

Brilliant Blue FCF, also known by the E-number E133, is a synthetic blue dye widely used in the food, cosmetic, textile, and cleaning product industries. We offer Brilliant Blue FCF as a highly concentrated powder (85%). It is water-soluble, colorfast, and highly versatile.

Applications of E133 Brilliant Blue FCF

  • Food: Perfect for coloring candy, desserts, baked goods, soft drinks, soups, and sauces.
  • Cosmetics: Ideal for soaps, creams, and other colored cosmetic products.
  • Technical applications: Used in the textile and cleaning product industries.

Usage

The food dye can be added directly to dough, beverages, or water-based cosmetic preparations, depending on the application. If needed, the powder can be diluted into a solution with distilled water. A 1% solution is sufficient to color dough or icing. 20 g is enough for 2 liters, and 1 kg for 100 liters of a 1% solution.

  • 1 g dye + 99 ml water = 100 ml 1% solution
  • 10 g dye + 990 ml water = 1 liter 1% solution

Brilliant Blue FCF can be mixed with E102 to create a green color.
